The Position: Opening Shift Lead

Assist in daily Ops’ of our restaurant. Unlocks the restaurant and creates the daily prep list. Prep the food and get the restaurant set up for the day. Assist the lunch team when needed, take orders & serve up the patrons at the counters or tables, prepare & cook to order the Sexy Pizza menu. Assist with inventory & ordering food & supplies, optimize profits & ensure our guests are satisfied with their dining experience. Flexible hours (full-time or part-time positions)

What We Require:

We make sure every team member is trained up on our Standard Operating Procedures. We do this by requiring all team members to go through a paid Orientation at our home office & paid Hands-on-Training onsite, no matter what level of experience you have. Must be available to open the restaurant on a regular basis.

The JOB Bullet Points:

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with all Leadership staff.
  • Provide direction to other employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
  • Opening the restaurant, creating prep lists and leading food prep assignments.
  • Assists team in lunch and afternoon service as needed.
  • Estimate food needs through accurate par levels on prep lists and order guides.
  • Responsible for reconciliation of cash drawers.
  • Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. Cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, fountain soda machine, hand sink, lobby tables, chairs, and etc...
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service.
  • Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniform, and appearance standards.
  • Proper portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
  • Place orders with distributors, and schedule the delivery of fresh food and supplies.
  • Receive orders from distributors, rotate and properly store all products.
  • Enter and receive all invoices using our digital systems.
  • Will uphold all ServSafe guidelines.
  • Maintain the highest standard of customer service at all times.
  • Take any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
  • Conduct the training of new employees.
  • Ability to accurately follow all standardized recipes and procedures.
  • Handles, stores and rotates all products properly in accordance with health department standards.
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to be on your feet for extended periods, up to 4 consecutive hours.
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Who You Are:

  • 18 years of age.
  • Someone with communications skills to create a positive interaction experience with our customers and communicate clearly with all Team Members.
  • Someone with basic math skills and who has the ability to handle money and make change.
  • You’re able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 or more pounds.
  • You’re able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours or more).
  • You are eligible to work in the United States.

Sexy Pizza aims to set the standard by normalizing basic benefits for our team members. Everyone starts out with an hourly rate above minimum wage & after an average of 30/hrs a week for 3 months, they qualify for full-time benefits.
