Tahor Health is a growing telehealth mental health practice committed to expanding access to quality care for underserved and diverse communities. We are currently onboarding licensed mental health providers to deliver telehealth-only services on a flexible, part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health assessments, therapy, and/or medication management via telehealth
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EHR
  • Deliver culturally responsive, ethical, and evidence-based care
  • Adhere to professional standards, payer requirements, and telehealth best practices
  • Communicate appropriately with the Tahor Health care team as needed
  • Maintain active licensure and professional liability coverage

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active, unrestricted professional license (LCSW, LMHC, or PMHNP)
  • Ability to provide services via telehealth
  • Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making skills
  • Reliable internet connection and private workspace
  • Comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor

Position Details

  • Independent Contractor (1099)
  • Fully Remote (Telehealth only)
  • 1–2 days per week (flexible scheduling)
  • No marketing, billing, or administrative responsibilities
  • Providers see patients only when sessions are scheduled

Compensation

  • Pay-per-session model
  • Estimated hourly rate: $50–$95 per hour, based on session type and reimbursement
  • Compensation is funded through:
  • Insurance reimbursement, or
  • Self-pay clients
  • Typical revenue split: 60% provider / 40% practice
  • Providers are paid after funds are collected
  • No salary or benefits deductions

No scheduled sessions = no obligation
Completed sessions = payment issued
