This is an outstanding opportunity to collaborate with world-class professionals and determine innovative solutions that strictly adhere to our ambitious goals!</p><p></p><h2></h2><h2>Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li><p>Develop and successfully implement processes to monitor collaborator happiness with key suppliers, and recommend value-maximizing targets such as revenue growth and spend reduction.</p></li><li><p>Assist in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting by developing category strategies for managed categories.</p></li><li><p>Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers, driving category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets.</p></li><li><p>Share market insights and category price trends with internal collaborators, using should-cost models for designated categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global market.</p></li><li><p>Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc., and lead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiation.</p></li><li><p>Develop supplier contract strategies for assigned categories by incorporating cost savings, negotiating contracts, sourcing, and evaluating suppliers.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with key customers to deliver strategic solutions by developing and maintaining expertise in assigned spend categories through positive relationship management.</p></li><li><p>Drive a customer-centric approach to issue resolution and Procurement representation by developing collaborative partnerships that improve cost-effectiveness, supply chain efficiency, and resilience.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2></h2><h2>Minimum Qualifications:</h2><ul><li><p>Over 5 years of experience in the Construction / Tool Install Category.</p></li><li><p>A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in category management and strategic sourcing.</p></li><li><p>Effective communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.</p></li><li><p>Advanced skills in material cost structure understanding and analysis.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2></h2><h2>Preferred Qualifications:</h2><ul><li><p>A decade of experience within the Construction / Tool Install Category.</p></li><li><p>Prior experience working in indirect category management at a semiconductor company.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with Ariba, SAP, and SCOUT.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>$90,000.00 - $205,000.00 a year<p></p><p>Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.<br>Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">locations. Within</span> the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
