About the position

American Honda Finance Corporation is currently seeking a Sr. Analyst Compliance Monitory & Consumer for our Compliance division. This Senior Analyst position is responsible for quantitative analysis of data from Compliance monitoring tests of AHFC operations through the following: (1) developing tests that measure key compliance metrics; (2) systematically gathering this information; and, (3) effectively interpreting and effectively communicating the results with the goal of achieving overall compliance standards that will meet and exceed the expectations set by state and federal regulators

Responsibilities

  • Evolve and maintain an analytical data-driven approach to AHFC, translate critical regulatory language into relevant compliance language
  • Maintain cutting edge knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment that affects AHFC business ops.
  • Maintain overall knowledge of business Ops as well as develop specific subject matter expertise
  • Actively engage tools and resources to monitor, analyze, research, investigate and communicate recommendation of AHFC compliance risk
  • Other special assignments as requested related to UDAAP

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Minimum 5 years data analytics experience; related regulatory, legal or compliance experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Superior oral and written communications skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with data analytics tools including but not limited to computer programming languages
  • Proficient in MS Windows (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters is a plus
  • Ability to use data analysis tools such as SAS and DB2 preferred
