Job Overview
We’re looking for happy enthusiastic team members for our uniques food trucks at Caledonia Park, Gretna “LOADED” & “CHURRO LOCO”.

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistants, to form our new and dynamic team. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business, providing exceptional support during the day to day running.

This position requires a passion for food and hospitality, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our clients and guests, along with the ability to work under your own initiative. Candidates also need to be physically fit, as moving and lifting stock is essential

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and drink, ensuring adherence to our own work ethic, as well as food safety standards.
  • open and operate our unique catering unit, in accordance with our system of work standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customer base, addressing any inquiries or requests during open hours
  • Collaborate with the other team members to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages at our location.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cooking and service areas throughout the day.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and reporting any shortages to the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation or catering is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and alone, in a fast-paced environment.
  • A background in hospitality or restaurant services is beneficial.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by our schedule.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
